Make this fall suncatcher project with your kids as an easy way to help decorate for Halloween and Thanksgiving! These easy crafts provide them an enjoyable decorating activity!

Why This Project Works
Autumn (or Autumnal Equinox, which generally falls on Sept 23), marks a season full of visible and tangible changes that you can feel and see; leaves change colors, air temperatures drop and days become shorter; apples are available for harvest along with pumpkins and other fall fruits.

Kids can make multiple fall suncatchers using just a few supplies to brighten the shorter days of Autumn. I made pumpkin, apple and acorn suncatchers in this tutorial; their steps remain identical only their shapes vary.
