With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, now is an opportune time to showcase this heart motif infinity scarf crochet pattern. An ideal adult craft project and ideal length to keep warm during January/February weather conditions! Plus those sweet hearts add such charm.

Hello friends! I am Bethany from Whistle and Ivy, a fiber arts and crochet blog. Don’t be daunted by those darling little hearts; they’re actually quite simple to make and you may be surprised how simple they are! Below I have included photos as well as a video tutorial of this infinity scarf crochet pattern to guide your way if needed; watch below.

Bring my Puppy Love Slouchy and Arm Warmers Patterns together as part of an infinity scarf set!

Approx. finished measurements: 6″ x 50″.

Special Stitch: Three dc Cluster: To create, yarn over, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull through (3 loops on hook), yarn over again to pull through (2 loops remaining on hook), insert in same st, yarn over, pull through first two loops (2 remaining loops on hook), yarn over again pull through first 2 loops (3 remaining on hook), then yarn over, pull through all 4 remaining loops. It should now look similar to dc3tog stitch but worked all within the same stitch – similar but worked all within the same stitch.

Ch 198. Slip stitch into first chain carefully without twisting it; should measure just over 50″

1. Chain 2, then work dc into each stitch around, joining with a slip stitch (198 stitches total).

2.-3. Ch 2. Fpdc around 1st dc from previous round and alternate it with Bpdc all around, joining with sl st at each turn (198 stitches total). On Row 3, make sure each FPDCC works around an existing fPDC instead of around BPDCC to give a ribbed look (198 stitch total). When joining second color.
4. Starting in Row 1, work 4 double crochet stitches into same stitch. Work *Ch 1. Skip 5 stitches then 4 double crochets in next stitch* 32 times before joining with first double crochet stitch and continuing rows 5 through 19. (165 Stitches).

Aren’t the results lovely? I hope that you enjoyed making and wearing your beautiful Puppy Love Infinity Scarf. For longer scarves, simply extend the foundation length by making multiples of six chains!
