If you love the scent and look of dried lavender as much as we do, then using its stems to craft DIY lavender candles won’t be hard at all!

Why We Loved This Project Hi there! Jane and Sonja from Sustain My Craft Habit here to share nature-inspired DIYs and craft ideas! One of our favorite supplies from nature (other than driftwood, rocks and pine cones!) that makes for great craft supplies is flowers!

Our mother, affectionately referred to by us as “mama dahlia”, boasts exquisite flower gardens. When the blooming season arrives, we enjoy taking cuttings of various varieties for drying or pressing in books for later use.

These DIY lavender candles, sugar scrub, soap and bath bombs would make an amazing and thoughtful present – ideal for birthdays, Mother’s Day or hostess gifts!

Lavender is one of those floral varieties that is particularly inspiring when it comes to creativity. The soothing and relaxing scent evocated by lavender can bring peace and relaxation, and we have used dried lavender in various forms of crafting: homemade lavender sachets, resin pendants and rustic driftwood wreaths with fragrant lavender wreaths are just a few ways we’ve used it for craft projects using our dried lavender.
